
Client‑Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) is an Alberta Health Services (AHS) option that allows Home and Community Care clients to take a more active role in managing their own care. Through CDHCI, clients can select a home care agency of their choice, as long as the provider is registered with Alberta Blue Cross to deliver approved services.
Prime Homecare Services is now officially approved by Alberta Health Services (AHS) as a service provider under the Client‑Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) program. This approval authorizes us to deliver flexible, client‑directed home care across Alberta, giving individuals greater choice and control in how their care is arranged.
The CDHCI program covers a range of home care services, as determined by your AHS Case Manager.
CDHCI gives clients greater control over their home care by allowing them to choose caregivers, set their own schedules, and select the services they need. This leads to more personalized care and improved quality of life.
We guide you from AHS assessment through to Alberta Blue Cross billing, making sure you receive the funding and care you qualify for.
